DIY Calender Wall

I love calendars. There is something about organization and writing things down that just gets me motivated. I’m not really the type to put reminders and lists in my phone or anything digital because I just forget or ignore it. Even in school I would have to read and ALWAYS take notes at the same time on just about anything…it’s just the way I remember best. Anyone else like this?

A couple weeks ago I saw an insta-story post by Amber Fillerup Clark of Barefoot Blonde showcasing her hair extention line’s calendar wall that was spread out on clipboards and I just had to make one for our home!

Though her calendar months have super pretty designs for each month (you can purchase and see them HERE) I really wanted to make it a little more my own with some water color art! So giving inspo credit to her here 🙂

So I purchased a package of clipboards, watercolor paintings, made my monthly calendar dates, and literally just cut and taped the photos I wanted to the top of the page.

Granted I must note, that just because I like to have calendars doesn’t mean I always remember to look at them and or write down my to-dos which is something I really REALLY hope to work on now that I have these right up in my face in our home, lol.
