Siena Turns One!

Siena is officially ONE years old and we both cannot believe how fast the time went. When we had Shaelyn we thought time was going so fast, but then you have two and it far exceeds what you thought about how fast time flies.
For her birthday we had decided to fly up to Minnesota to celebrate with my side of the family, as we had done the same thing with Shae when she turned one. Only difference there is Shae is a December baby and had a winter wonderland themed party and Siena is a summer baby of course and we are having an ice cream social themed party for her. We really wanted to take a family vacation since Freddy had been back from his deployment so this worked out great.
On the 21st for her actual birthday we celebrated with a few family members and Freddy made her a mini smash cake just so she could have something special on her birthday. Aside from her party here in MN we also plan on having one in Arizona for all of our friends and family there with a Circus theme! So we are so excited.
Here are a few of her 1 year milestones:
1 month-started smiling
2 months-started cooing
3 months-started rolling over
6 months-started crawling everywhere, and FAST
8 months-started rocking her signature mo-hawk and has
thee best laugh you’ll ever hear! It’s seriously so contagious ;-D
10 months-took her first steps
11 months was officially walking
Other FUN FACTS!
- She still has no teeth!
- Does not like purees or other baby food, wants whole foods softened
- Her hair is sooo curly with the cutest ringlets
- She’s a total Mama’s girl
- She thinks her sister is the bee’s knees and follows her everywhere!
- She loves dancing to Sia
- Favorite movie: Frozen (for let it go she puts out her arms just like Elsa)
- Still not a big fan of car rides
- Gives big ol’ kisses and makes the smacking noise with it! LOL
- She absolutely adores her sister and follows here everywhere
