Baby Number 3!
Well, after a good year of debating whether or not we should have one more kid, God answered for us and said, “Yes, yes you shall!” So in late August, the day after my birthday, I took a test and watched it turn right to “YES.” We were completely shocked after being so careful and thought well, here we go again. To be honest it wasn’t your typical jump for joy kind of reaction but more of a…”ahhh, how are we going to afford another baby,” type of response rather. Pregnancy is enjoyed by so many and that’s great! But I have always struggled with being pregnant and now here I am, on round three!
With all that said, after the initial shock was gone and we finally processed that this is happening, our debating was decided for us, and the fact that we are already pretty settled into a new home with plenty of room to accommodate another babe, we are becoming more and more excited. The big question to us now is, “WHAT ARE WE HAVING?” Will it be another girl? Or will we be trading in all our little girl clothes for boy attire? We will be finding out early next month.
So far I’ve had your typical first trimester morning sickness, and for the first time ever severe migraines, which has been a kick in the butt, thankfully however it’s slowly subsiding!
Both the girls are already aware of what’s happening and though if you would ask Siena, “do you want a baby?” she would say, “nooo,” she really means yes I can only assume because of all the times during the day she comes to my belly and says, “ba-ba” before placing a big ol’ sloppy kiss on the baby 🙂 Shae on the other hand is quite interested and always excited to here “your gonna get a baby.”
This will be our last pregnancy for sure and I always told myself I wanted to have all my children before turning 30, so this actually works out just right 🙂
Here’s to another year of sleepless nights, endless breastfeeding, yet Ever Lasting Love.
